Occasionally, Jimmy’s ghostwriter steps in and guest-writes a post in his voice. Cleverly cloaked behind his old cowboy camouflage he can mimic the master in prose and alliterative flow with eloquent proficiency. Well, he could if he didn’t reveal himself in the first paragraph. Alas, somebody had to write the first post on Jimmy and the Equine’s brand news feed, which of course is his new band name. A while back, Dr. Simon Mills and his wife—Molley Mills—of infinitely-greater grace and poise visited us here at Mother Earth and left us a little gift. Of course, they were actually here to borrow our soul in the name of education at McGraw Hill—which is totally fine as any publicity is good and in the name of education; better—but most importantly they became connected to us here at the Horse House and consider themselves family. The result is a little Tierra Madre biopic documentary featuring his truly, the old cowboy himself. Damn, he’s a good lookin’ rooster.
